What you share
The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, service request, and an optional website. Switch and refresh inquiries can include the current website platform. Website switching also asks for your current ongoing monthly website cost. You can add an optional phone number if you prefer texting; adding it gives consent to texts about your inquiry. Reply STOP anytime. A refresh requires the existing website and desired changes. Other requests ask for the problem or intended result.
A Business Tech Checkup can include the tools you use and approximate monthly tech spending. Please leave passwords, private customer records, and sensitive documents out of this form.
Why we use it
Ethan uses the information to review your request, calculate an estimate where appropriate, reply, and prepare a scope or quote. An inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails or authorize paid work.
How the inquiry reaches Ethan
In this preview, direct form delivery is still being connected. Preparing an inquiry creates an email draft in your browser. Nothing is sent until you send it from your email app. You can also copy the message and email Ethan directly.
When you send email, your email service and Ethan’s email service process the message. The site currently does not submit inquiry data to a form-delivery service.
Destination: ethanshotz@gmail.com.
The homepage chat sends messages through our server to Ethan’s private Telegram inbox. Ethan replies from his linked account, and those replies appear in your website conversation. Telegram processes the forwarded messages. You do not need a Telegram account. The chat does not generate automated conversational replies, typing activity, or online status.
Storage and access
Website chat messages are stored on our hosting platform so the thread survives a refresh. An essential, secure browser cookie gives this browser access to its conversation for up to 30 days. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to reopen that conversation. The cookie is not used for advertising. Your unsent draft stays in this browser tab’s session storage.
Website threads expire 30 days after the last message and are removed during later chat session creation. Telegram retains its own copy of correspondence until it is deleted there. Email Ethan to request removal from both places. Leave passwords and private customer records out of chat.
The website-savings popup remembers whether it appeared in this browser tab. Closing it saves a 30-day snooze preference in this browser’s local storage. These preferences contain no inquiry details and are not sent to Ethan. You can reopen the offer at any time.
Once received, correspondence is held in Ethan’s email and any records used to manage agreed work. Ethan uses it to respond and provide that work. No fixed deletion period is currently set. Email Ethan if you want to correct or remove information; he will explain any records needed for active work.
Cookies and technical information
This site does not add analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies. The hosting platform may process connection and technical request information to operate the site and may use its own access cookies.
