Start with an approved scope
An inquiry or calculator result starts a conversation. It does not order services, cancel your existing provider, or authorize paid work. Before work begins, the written quote identifies the work, deliverables, ongoing services, prices, outside costs, and agreed payment arrangements.
Paid work begins after approval. Additional work or a change in scope gets a price for approval before it is added.
Ongoing costs and project costs
For brochure-style sites, the website-switching estimate is 50% of your current ongoing website cost, rounded to cents. The service and rate are confirmed after review. Online stores, booking systems, and member logins receive a custom quote. Bundled marketing, third-party charges, and applicable taxes are considered separately.
Every site moving to Grunjee is migrated to Next.js or Vite by default as part of the standard service. Any charges for the reviewed migration/setup work are approved upfront and shown separately from ongoing care. Substantial refreshes, new builds, and custom functionality are separate project work. Qualifying brochure sites receive the first total migration hour free, including assessment, setup, testing, and handoff. Additional straightforward website work is $50/hour with approval. Technical work is $100/hour or a fixed quote.

The free checkup
Free Business Tech Checkup means a quick review with clear recommendations from the information you provide. It does not include a detailed audit, implementation, or ongoing support. Those receive a separate quote.
Website care and support
Standard care includes hosting + SSL, backups, updates, uptime checks, and unlimited small edits within fair use. A small edit is something that takes a few minutes, such as hours, photos, text swaps, or a new blurb. Larger changes, new pages, redesigns, new applications, and integrations get a separate price for approval before work starts. Backup coverage and restore limits are confirmed for the setup.
Ethan follows up on inquiries within 1 business day after receiving the message. Most small edits are live within 1 business day. Human coverage is 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pacific daily. Outage investigation and recovery attempts target 3–5 covered hours, best effort. These are response and recovery-attempt targets, not guaranteed resolution times.
Permission and account access
You need authorization to use the content, design, and other materials you ask us to recreate. We confirm the necessary permissions and account access before migration.
Domain registration, third-party licenses, outside services, and platform limitations are disclosed in the scope. Handoff identifies which accounts you control, which deliverables can move, and which features depend on an outside service.
Switching and leaving
Keep the old service active during review and preparation. We agree on a switch plan and test the approved replacement before recommending cancellation. You remain responsible for cancelling your existing provider under its arrangements.
The written quote confirms any applicable ongoing service and cancellation arrangements. If you later leave, we explain the account, file, and data handoff. Any additional migration or custom handoff work is quoted before approval.
